What wire do you use?

I use sterling silver and 14 karat gold-filled wire to wrap my pieces. I do not use plated wire to wrap, meaning my pieces do not tarnish, are waterproof (depending on the crystal), and will not turn your skin green. I wrap pieces to be worn daily and last years.

What is gold-filled wire?

Gold-filled wire includes at least 5% of gold, while gold-plated wire has around .05% of gold. This is why gold-plated jewelry often chips and turns a different color.

Gold-filled wire is waterproof, tarnish-proof, and hypoallergenic! It will not turn your skin green or change colors. It's also a much more cost-friendly alternative to solid gold!

Where do you get your crystals?

I source my crystals from a handful of mineralogists who have been selling and mining crystals for decades. I only source from a select few people because I can guarantee where my crystals come from and that sustainable and ethical practices are used during mining. 

Does each crystal have a meaning?

I have come to believe each crystal has a difference vibration and energy, and this is true on a physics level even if you don't resonate with spiritual meanings of crystals. Each crystal was grown in specific natural conditions, with a beautifully complex variety of minerals, over thousands of years, and many crystals have rich cultural histories. So yes, there is plenty of meaning attached to every crystal! I include an info card with each other and you can read about each crystal's energy on my product descriptions.

What does it mean to be intuitively wrapped?

Each piece is made for a specific energy and person in mind. When I wrap, I am in communication with the crystal, and often channel a certain emotion or person when wrapping. It's a hard process to explain with words, but when you find the piece that's made for you, you just know :) In my product descriptions I will sometimes include the type of energy I channeled when crafting.
